BRUNSWICK — Brunswick High School chorus alumni have been working to prepare a chorus concert in memory of Carroll “Sonny” Googins, recently deceased chorus teacher at the school.

Proceeds will go toward a music scholarship to be awarded to a graduating senior, said Rebecca Beck, owner of Studio 48 Performing Arts Center.

The group rehearses from 5 to 8 p.m., every Sunday evening at Studio 48, on 20 Davis St. The concert is 7 p.m. Oct. 20 at Crooker Theater.
