BATH — Dennis Unger, director of University College at Bath/Brunswick, recently announced that a Veterans Resource Fair being held collaboratively among Southern Maine Community College, University College at Bath/Brunswick, and University of Maine at Augusta, will take place in Bath on Monday, Oct. 22, between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Active military personnel, veterans and their family members are welcome to visit the fair to tour the Department of Veterans Affairs Maine Mobile Vet Center bus and meet center as well as Veterans Services staff.
Amy Line, UMA coordinator of Veteran Support Services, will be available for questions. “We are committed to serving our military, veterans and family members at our centers,” said Line.
Representatives from other organizations serving veterans in the local community will also attend. Refreshments will be served.
The fair will be held at the Midcoast Center for Higher Education at 9-11 Park St. in Bath. Advance sign-up is requested; call 1-800-696-2329 or 442-7736.
