TOPSHAM — The Brunswick Junior High School boys soccer team jumped out to a 2-0 first-half lead, but rival Mt. Ararat battled back to forge a 2-2 tie on Thursday.
Henry Doherty and Lee Taylor (assisted by Max Grammins) gave the Huskies the first-half lead.
Doherty was selected as “Man of the Match” for Brunswick, along with teammate Nathan Harrower.
Also playing well for the Huskies were Max Grammins, Alex Small (defended against Mt. Ararat top scorer Gavin Patterson), Zach Boyle, Michael Deveaux, Tobyn Blatt, Cobin Bouchard, Lucas Piatt, Quinn Solberg and Holden Andrews.
