LEWISTON — Androscoggin Bank recently announced that it has hired Deborah Dunlap Avasthi, a resident of Durham, as an assistant vice president, Professional Services Officer.

According to a news release, she is a graduate of the University of Vermont, and previously was vice president of Surety for Willis of Northern New England.

She will be based at Androscoggin Bank’s main office location at 30 Lisbon St. in Lewiston.

Avasthi is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience developing and maintaining longterm relationships. She will be a member of the team delivering the bank’s concierge service for professional services clients.
