BRUNSWICK — Virginia “Lorraine” Lemont, 74, passed away on Oct. 30, 2012, in Brunswick, Maine, with her family by her side.

Born July 3, 1938, in Limerick, Maine, to father, David Plympton Sr., and mother and stepfather, Irene and Lawrence White Sr., she attended Saint John’s Catholic School and Brunswick High School. She was married to John “Jack” Lemont for 26 years. She lived in Brunswick and worked at Dunkin Donuts for many years.

Lorraine will be remembered especially for her doll making, crocheting, and for humor and honesty.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Lemont, her children and their spouses, Jackie Dale Buttram, Heather Buttram

Simon, Lawrence Buttram, Lorry Jacobs, Theresa “Tiny” Lane, Larry “Porky” Elwell Jr., Tim Lemont, David Lemont, Susan Hodsdon, Jeffrey Lemont, Christian Lemont, Kim Lemont, and Malou Torrigian, her 26 grandchildren and her 18 greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Lawrence White Jr. and is also survived by four brothers, Ronnie White, Bruce White, Linwood White, and Richard White and their spouses.

Per her request, there will be no memorial service and a private gathering will be held for family only.
