PORTLAND — The Environmental and Energy Technology Council of Maine (E2Tech) recently elected Jim Katsiaficas of the Portlandbased law firm Perkins Thompson as its new chairman at its annual meeting on the University of Maine Portland campus.
Katsiaficas has practiced environmental and land use, municipal and administrative law since 1985. He is a shareholder and director of Perkins Thompson, has served as town attorney for a number of Maine municipalities and has represented public and private clients in federal Superfund and state uncontrolled hazardous substance site matters and in several Brownfield site proceedings.
E2Tech is a nonprofit trade association comprised of more than 160 members that seeks to build and expand the state’s environmental, energy and clean technology sectors. More more information, visit www.e2tech.org.
