OCEAN PARK — Carl Boone DiPietro, 23, of Ocean Park, died Dec. 3 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford after a battle with cancer. He was born in Portland on Feb. 19, 1989, to Lawrence and Catherine (Clark) DiPietro.  

He grew up in Freeport where he attended local schools. He volunteered at Freeport Community Services and was a participant in both the winter and summer Special Olympics. He was also a regular at the Casco Bay YMCA, where he was enrolled in the adaptive services program. He was a very artistic person and enjoyed making models. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle nephew and friend and will be dearly missed.

He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence C. DiPietro. 

Surviving are his mother, Catherine Clark, of Ocean Park; his sister, Gina DiPietro, of Freeport; his three brothers, Lawrence, James, and Antonio DiPietro, all of Portland; his favorite, Auntie Jo; his grandmother, aunts and uncles.

A private graveside service will be held at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
