MIAMI – Draymond Green made a layup with 0.9 seconds left Wednesday night to give the Golden State Warriors a 97-95 victory against the Miami Heat.

Klay Thompson tied a season high with 27 points to lead the Warriors, who have won five straight.

LeBron James led Miami with 31 points as he reached 20 points for the 25th consecutive game, the longest current streak in the NBA.

Jarrett Jack dribbled the ball at the top of the key for the Warriors as the clock ticked down before finding Green open underneath the basket. Green caught the pass in mid-air and made the basket.

James’ jumper from the baseline banged off the rim, giving Golden State the win as Miami lost for just the second time in 12 home games.

HAWKS 86, MAGIC 80: Josh Smith and Jeff Teague scored 16 points apiece, Al Horford added 13 points and 13 rebounds, and visiting Atlanta held off a late charge by Orlando.

Atlanta extended its regular-season win streak against Orlando to eight with its second victory against the Magic this season.

Arron Afflalo scored 16 points and J.J. Redick added 13 for the Magic, who were able to dig out of a huge first-half hole but couldn’t overcome 16 turnovers that led to 24 points.

TIMBERWOLVES 108, NUGGETS 105: Nikola Pekovic had 22 points and 11 rebounds, and Minnesota used a big advantage at the free-throw line to overcome Kevin Love’s shooting struggles at Minneapolis.

Love finished with eight points on 3-of-17 shooting and grabbed 14 rebounds.

The Timberwolves shot under 40 percent for much of the game, but made 30 of 37 from the free- throw line. The Nuggets were just 14 of 24 at the line.

NETS 94, RAPTORS 88: Joe Johnson scored 23 points, Andray Blatche had 14 points and nine rebounds, and Brooklyn won at Toronto, snapping a season-high five-game losing streak.

C.J. Watson scored 16 points and Deron Williams added 12 points as the Nets won for the first time since Nov. 30 at Orlando.

PACERS 96, CAVALIERS 81: Paul George scored 27 points and Indiana overcame a 16-point deficit at Indianapolis.

David West had 18 points and nine rebounds, and George Hill added 17 points for the Pacers, who snapped a two-game skid.

BULLS 96, 76ERS 89: Joakim Noah scored 21 points, Luol Deng added 19 points and 12 rebounds, and Chicago won its fourth straight on the road, beating Philadelphia.

Less than 24 hours after losing to the Los Angeles Clippers by five points at home, the Bulls traveled to Philadelphia and appeared more rested than the Sixers, who had Tuesday off.

CLIPPERS 100, BOBCATS 94: Chris Paul had 19 points and 10 assists as Los Angeles won at Charlotte, N.C., for its eighth straight win.

Blake Griffin and Matt Barnes also scored 19 points for the Clippers, who maintained sole possession of first place in the Pacific Division.

BUCKS 98, KINGS 85: Brandon Jennings scored 19 points, Monta Ellis had 17 points and 11 assists, and Milwaukee won at home.

Ersan Ilyasova added 16 points and a season-high 14 rebounds, and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute scored a season-high 17 points in his first start of the season for Milwaukee (11-9), which has its best 20-game start since 2005-06.

THUNDER 92, HORNETS 88: Kevin Durant scored 35 points and Oklahoma City won at home to extend its winning streak to nine games.

The Thunder rallied from an 11-point second-half deficit and matched their longest streak since the franchise moved from Seattle.

ROCKETS 99, WIZARDS 93:James Harden scored 31 points to lift Houston at home.

After suffering a sprained ankle Saturday against Dallas and missing Monday night’s loss to San Antonio, Harden returned to lead the Rockets to their first victory under Coach Kevin McHale in more than a month.

NOTES

KINGS: Center DeMarcus Cousins was suspended for one game without pay by the NBA for striking O.J. Mayo of Dallas in the groin area in a road loss Monday night.

Cousins sat out the game at Milwaukee.
