
She was born in Bath on Aug. 19, 1946, a daughter of Frederick and Isabelle (Hudson) Rhoades.
She attended Bath and Brunswick schools and married Hildreth Creamer.
She was employed at Aubach Shoe Co. in Brunswick and at Ames Department Store in Lewiston for many years.
She loved music, spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and watching the ocean.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hildreth Creamer, in 1993 and a daughter, Sherry Creamer, in 1994.
She is survived by four sons, Wayne Staples and his wife, Gail of Brunswick, John Staples of Bowdoin, Rocky Creamer and his companion, Lynda of Auburn, and Bowe Creamer and his companion, Tina of Topsham; 14 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Mid Coast Hospital for taking such special care of Sally at a difficult time.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at her son Bowe’s home, 257 Middlesex Road, Topsham. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Woolwich at a later date.
