Frank P. Duley Jr. died on Dec. 24 at his home in Kennebunkport. A memorial service for Frank was held at the Bibber Memorial Chapel, Kennebunk, on Dec. 29 with Father John Bacevicius. Interment will take place in the Duley family plot at Hope Cemetery, Kennebunk, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Frank’s memory are encouraged to support disabled veterans, perhaps through the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Kathy M. Mahoney, 53, of Sanford and formerly of Westwood, Mass., passed away at her home in Sanford on Thursday Dec. 27, 2012. Visiting hours for Kathy will be on Wednesday, Jan. 2 from 5-8 p.m. at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church. Burial will be in the spring at St. Ignatius Cemetery. John Edward Travers passed away at the age of 88 at Maine Medical Center on Dec. 30, 2012. There will be no formal service as it was John’s wishes to have his remains donated to the University of New England Medical School. The family will be holding a celebration of life ceremony on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at Union House Pub, 2 Main St. at the Mills in Biddeford with drop-in hours from 1-4 p.m.
