PLYMOUTH, N.H. — Keegan Pieri, Bryan Hurley and Andrew Madlinger combined to score 47 points Wednesday afternoon as the Bowdoin College men’s basketball team ran past Plymouth State University, 75-53 in its second semester opener.

Pieri topped all scorers with 18 points, while Hurley contributed 15 and Madlinger chipped in with 14. The three Polar Bears combined to make 17-of-29 shots from the field.

Bowdoin won its fifth game in a row to improved to 6-2 overall.

Petey Skevas led the Panthers with 16 points and five assists as Plymouth slipped to 2-8.

Bowdoin never trailed in the game, taking a double-digit lead (18-7) midway through the first half.

Bowdoin plays its next four games at home, beginning Friday with a NESCAC contest against Hamilton College at 6:00 p.m.
