TOPSHAM — The Route 24 Corridor Plan Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting Thursday.

Route 24 has been identified by the Maine Department of Transportation a “corridor of regional significance, and stakeholders in the the five Midcoast Council of Governments municipalities served by the corridor — Richmond, Bowdoinham, Topsham, Brunswick and Harpswell —  have been involved in the development of a Corridor Management Plan over the past several months.

Thursday’s meeting follows a public input meeting in October and an advisory committee meeting in November that discussed issues and concerns and reviewed data on the corridor.

Stakeholders are expected to approve a “purpose and objectives” statement for the study Thursday, and to discuss and further develop a draft list of strategies to achieve the objectives.

The meeting is 2:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at the Topsham Municipal Office, 100 Main St.
