Is it fair that the city of Bath is helping a destitute couple find a new place to live while scores of others go homeless?

Maybe, maybe not. But when we see municipal government join private citizens to make a positive impact in the lives of their troubled neighbors, we are moved to the point of remembering: There but for the grace of God go we.

Neighbors helping neighbors isn’t a new concept. In Bath, that concept extends to government officials. That is unusual — and appreciated.
