BRUNSWICK — PeaceWorks, a local nonprofit, is seeking a coordinator for its ninth annual Peace Fair on Aug. 3 at the Brunswick Mall.
The position has a stipend, and it would require “10 hours a month in March and April, then 10 hours a week” from May until after the fair, according to a release from PeaceWorks. The coordinator also will have to hold a debriefing in August.
This year’s theme for the Peace Fair will be “The Children Ask the World of Us” and will ask attendees to consider what that means. The fair will include live concerts, local food, a poetry writing workshop and other arts activities.
Anyone interested in applying for the position should contact PeaceWorks committee member Rosalie Paul at gaia@gwi.net.
