WALTHAM, Mass. — Bentley University announced the names of local students honored for outstanding academic achievement in the fall 2012 semester.

The students and their honors are:

— Alexander Pilitsis, of Brunswick, was named to the dean’s list. He is a junior majoring in economics and international business

— Zachary Engel, of Freeport, was named to the dean’s list. He is a junior majoring in economics and finance.

— Scott Ross, of Freeport, was named to the president’s list. He is a junior majoring in business.
