GORHAM — The University of Southern Maine Huskies baseball team is scheduled to host the 23rd annual Baseball Clinics for baseball players in grades 3-12 on Feb. 17 and Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
These clinics allow player to learn proper pitching, defensive and hitting techniques from the Huskies’ baseball staff and team members.
Clinic participants will perform various drills and will be evaluated and given instruction to make any necessary corrections or adjustments.
Defensive stations will include throwing, pitching, infield, outfield and catching. Hitting will have five stations that break down the swing.
Clinic participants will be grouped by age and ability and need to bring their own bat and glove.
The clinic will take place at the Costello Sports Complex Fieldhouse on the Gorham Campus of the University of Southern Maine. Cost for the clinic is $50 per day or $90 for both clinics.
