Pownal selectmen meet Monday, Feb. 18, 7 p.m., at Mallett Hall.

The Planning Board meets Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m., at Mallett Hall. The board’s ongoing review of the zoning ordinance draft will be on Tuesday, Feb. 29, from 8-9:30 a.m. at Mallett Hall. All Planning Board meetings, onsite inspections and workshops are open to the public.

The Conservation Committee meets Monday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m., at MallettHall.

Dinner followed ?by New Wine

The North Pownal United Methodist Church, 851 Lawrence Road, Pownal, is sponsoring a community supper Saturday, March 10, at 5 p.m., or which a donation will be accepted, with a concert by New Wine to follow. Admission is free. A free-will offering will be taken.

New Wine is a Christian band. Members include Mario Blais, bass guitar/vocals; David Chick, electric guitar/vocals; Roger Cusson, drums;Vickie O’Brien, acoustic guitar/vocals; Dick Waters, piano/guitar/vocals; Judy Cusson, sound engineering.

Food pantry

The North Pownal United Methodist Church food Pantry on Lawrence Road is open every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Different kinds of breads, produce, desserts, etc., are usually available. All are welcome.

Church services

The North Pownal United Methodist Church will hold an Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m., at the church. All are welcome.
