BREWER (AP) — Police say propane stored inside a pickup truck caused an explosion in Brewer.
Police say small bottles of propone hooked up to a handheld torch and a 100-pound propane container were inside the truck before it caught on fire. The truck had been having electrical problems before it burst into flames on Tuesday.
Firefighters were able to stop the flames before they spread to a nearby house.
