TOPSHAM — The town of Topsham has issued a 24-hour parking ban effective from 6 a.m. today until 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to the town’s website.
Freeport’s public works department has also announced a parking ban in effect from 8 a.m. today until 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Brunswick had a parking ban in place starting at 2 a.m. today that ended at 7 a.m.
A late-winter northeaster that was forecast to arrive late Monday night, is expected to intensify through the day today and drop as much as 10 to 14 inches of wet, heavy snow in Maine and New Hampshire, before tapering off during the day Wednesday.
