Paul Barker, 64, formerly of Old Orchard Beach, died at home, surrounded by family, on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 after a sudden and brief illness with cancer. Visitation was at Walker’s Funeral Home in Chapel Hill and the funeral was at Grace Church in Chapel Hill, followed by a private family burial service.
Maurice F. Therrien, 86, of Sanford, died on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, March 24 at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home located at 29 Winter St. in Sanford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 25 at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, located on North Avenue in Sanford. Burial with military honors will be later in the spring at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.
