NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — The Bowdoin College men’s lacrosse team extended its winning streak to three games with a 13-8 non-conference win over Springfield in a game played at Merrimack College on Tuesday evening.
The 20th-ranked Polar Bears improved to 4-2 with the victory. The Pride fell in their sixth consecutive game and dropped to 1-6 on the season.
Bowdoin took an early advantage and Springfield was never able to get within two goals for the final three quarters of the game.
Tyler Williams had three goals to lead the Polar Bears, while Peter Reuter and Dan Hanley added two goals each in the victory.
The Polar Bears will return to action this weekend with a pair of important league games. Bowdoin will travel to Middlebury on Saturday for a 1 p.m. contest before heading toWilliamsfora1p.m.match on Sunday.
