BRUCE GAGNON and Mary Beth Sullivan of Bath took advantage of a nice early spring day on Tuesday, March 26, walking their coon dog Homer along Mile Beach at Reid State Park in Georgetown. As of Monday, no dogs will be allowed at the beach, due to the seasonal return of the endangered piping plover. Additional staff workers will begin trickling into the park this month.
