Raymond M. Carpentier, 96, a lifelong resident of Sanford, passed away at his home, with his two sons by his side, on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Visiting hours for Mr. Carpentier will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.
