FREEPORT
Police have arrested a Freeport man in connection with a multitown burglary investigation.
Detectives from the Freeport, Brunswick and Yarmouth police departments executed search warrants Wednesday at 57 Litchfield Road.
Freeport police said a search of the residence where Willis Jordan was said to be living produced items connected to burglaries in three towns.
Police arrested Jordan — who “has an extensive history of theft and burglary offenses” — and charged him in the theft of clothing, computer items and other items from businesses in Freeport, Brunswick and Yarmouth.
Freeport police Detective Gino Bianchini, Brunswick police Detective William Moir and Yarmouth police Detective Paul Martin worked the case. Jordan was at the Cumberland County Jail awaiting arraignment Thursday.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
