SCARBOROUGH — Raymond Joseph Farrell, 77, of Sarasota, Fla. and Scarborough, died March 23.

He was born April 25, 1935, to the late John B. and Margaret G. Farrell.

Farrell is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Farrell, and their children, Michael J. Farrell of Cocoa, Fla., Mary and Steven Cooper of Centennial, Colo., and Patricia and Thomas McLeish of Norfolk, Mass. He leaves six grandchildren, John and Erin Farrell, Daniel and Jack Cooper, and Thomas and Annie McLeish.

Farrell is also survived by his brother, William E. Farrell, and sisters Dorothy A. Meehan and Joann M. Towle, along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by brother John B. Farrell and sisters Mary G. Gomes and Barbara E. Piacentini.

A Mass of Christian burial was held April 2 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Scarborough.
