CUMBERLAND (AP) — Life- Flight officials are trying to determine the cause of a mechanical failure that forced a medical helicopter crew to make an emergency landing in Cumberland.

No one was injured when the helicopter landed hard in a field off Winn Road on Tuesday. Officials say one of the chopper’s two engines lost oil pressure as the crew was returning to Lewiston after transporting a patient to a hospital.

A pilot and two crew members were aboard.
