The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry and the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission are presenting a workshop on current use property tax programs, 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at the Lincoln County Communications Meeting Room.
The workshop will cover the purpose, eligibility criteria and application procedures for the farmland and tree growth property tax programs, farmland registration and the Maine Voluntary Municipal Farm Support program.
Presenters will include Stephanie Gilbert of the Division of Agriculture Resource Development, and Andy Shultz or Michael Rochester from the Division of Maine Forest Service.
