BIDDEFORD – The former Colette’s Cup Gallery, 146 Alfred St., is reopening this week for an exhibit, “Art in Biddeford: A 10-year Retrospective.”

The exhibit, which opens from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, will feature works by local artists, including Kelly Jo Shows, Russel Whitten, Bud Swenson, Michelle Caron, Chris Dingwell, Laura Dunn, Peter T. Bennet, Coco Coral and Gil Coral.

The retrospective will coincide with the Biddeford+Saco ArtWalk.

The exhibit is being organized by Nancy Kureth, the gallery owner, who co-founded the Biddeford ArtWalk in 2007.

Colette’s Cup opened in May 2003 as a salon-style gallery that offered coffee, art and conversation. Kureth closed its doors in 2005 and developed pop-up galleries in Biddeford.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. For more information, send an email to bravaladybug@gmail.com.
