Mölnlycke Health Care is opening its doors to job applicants at a job fair Wednesday.
Company officials will offer information and applications for positions as quality-control production operators. The event will occur at 11 Twin Rivers Drive in Wiscasset,
9 a.m. to noon; and at 192 Admiral Fitch Ave., Brunswick, from 1 to 4 p.m., Wednesday.
The company is seeking applicants with math and mechanical skills; computer skills; the ability to wear a respirator; and, for some positions, two years of machining or production-operator experience or equivalent education, such as an associate’s degree in machine operation.
In January, the company told The Times Record it would engage in a total initial hire of 35 to 45 employees. Mölnlycke took possession of its $14 million, 72,000- squarefoot plant at Brunswick Landing earlier this month.
