ABOUT 25 CYCLISTS braved cold rain, wind and encroaching darkness Wednesday evening, pedaling 10 miles through Brunswick and Topsham in the Ride of Silence. Organized locally by the Merrymeeting Wheelers Bicycle Club of Topsham, the national event pays tribute to cyclists injured or killed in collisions with cars or trucks. The local ride was dedicated to Randall Vye, who died in 2001 after being struck by a motorist on Bath Road.
