TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade baseball team defeated Tripp Middle School on Tuesday, 14-0.

Michael Rogers and Ryan Glass combined to pitch nohit ball in a five-inning game due to the Mercy Rule.

The Eagles turned in some standout defense by Nick Merrill, Nate Lesley and Blair Kopp.

Key hits were by Tanner Greenleaf, Sam Alexander, Merrill, Kyle Brennan, Cole Kelley, Seth Johanson and Rogers.

On Wednesday, Mt. Ararat defeated Gray-New Gloucester, 9-1.

Corson Swan and Garrett Moody combined for the pitching win. Key hits were by Ryan Mello, Kelley, Caden Temple, Swan and Merrill.

The Eagles swing back into action today against Oceanside.
