BRUNSWICK — In rookie women’s softball league action Wednesday evening at Edwards Field, Coastal Orthopedics played host to Harpswell, with the game ending in a 10-10 deadlock.
Ellie Sullivan and Amber Libby were solid on defense for Coastal Orthopedics, while Hannah Wilkoff and Maggie Bateman contributed to the offensive effort with two hits each.
For Harpswell, Ella Davies had a great night at the plate, going 2-for-2 and scoring a pair of runs. Allie Hunter and Phoebe Fitzpatrick had stellar performances at third base, both recording two unassisted outs during their respective innings at third.
Coastal Orthopedics picked up a second tie in two games, finishing deadlocked with Bowdoin, 20-20 this past weekend.
Sullivan, Libby and Bateman played well defensively for Coastal Orthopedics. Catcher Sullivan recorded two outs at the plate.
The offensive effort for Coastal Orthopedics was led by Ava Wolverton, Hailie Lord and Fiona Edmonds.
For Bowdoin, Libby Anderson, Tarynn Kelleher, Haley Starks and Hayden Wienckowski each tallied three hits, while Reagan Robertson and Hannah Rousseau played standout defense.
