BATH — Smith-Tobey Post has been busy as of late with three wins and a loss in Cal Ripken baseball action.
Lisbon 9, Smith-Tobey 8
Lisbon scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to snatch a victory away from Smith-Tobey.
The Smith-Tobey offense was led by Kaleb Jackson, going 3-for-3 with three singles, Kam Harrison two doubles, Isaak Flaming a home run and a single, Thomas Warren a double and a single, and Jackson Walker, Brandon Barone and Tyler Scorfina a double each.
Flaming and Warren struck out six in two innings of work each.
Smith-Tobey 4, Sharon Drake 2
In rain-soaked action, Smith-Tobey banged out seven hits and got solid pitching to earn a victory.
The Smith-Tobey offense was led by singles from Harrison, Walker, Barone and Ethan Testa, while Flaming, Warren and Gavin Hanna each doubled.
Smith-Tobey pitchers Flaming and Warren each struck out six in two innings of work apiece, and Walker struck out three in one inning.
For Sharon Drake, the offense was led by Jordan Douglas with two singles, and Nicco Bartone, Austin Magliozzi and Kenny Bassett a single each.
Bartone struck out three in four innings and made several standout defensive plays on the mound.
The game was called after five innings due to the poor weather.
Smith-Tobey 16, Durham 8
The Smith-Tobey offense erupted for 16 hits and took advantage of seven walks to earn the victory.
Walker led the hit parade by going 4-for-4 with two triples, a double and a single, while Jackson had two doubles and a single, Harrison two singles and a double, and Warren, Barone and Scorfina two singles each.
Jackson struck out three in two innings, while Harrison fanned five in two innings, and Barone pitched well to close the game out.
Smith-Tobey 13, GM Wild 4
Smith-Tobey bats pounded out 20 hits and received solid pitching in recent interleague play.
For Smith-Tobey, Jackson, Harrison and Walker each had two singles and a double, Flaming two doubles and a single, Barone a double and a single, and Warren, Scorfina and Jarred Patterson two singles each.
Warren recorded four strikeouts in two frames, Flaming five strikeouts in two innings and Walker three strikeouts in one inning. Walker also threw out two GM Wild base runners.
For GM Wild, Kyle Hanson and Brady Mitchell each were 2-for-2 with two doubles.
