LISBON FALLS — Visiting Monmouth Academy scored three runs in the top of the eighth inning for a 4-2 Mountain Valley Conference win over Lisbon on Thursday.
The Greyhounds, 5-9 and slated to visit Dirigo on Monday and Mountain Valley on Tuesday, jumped on top 1-0 in the first inning, but the Mustangs (9-4) tied the game in the sixth.
Kyle Fletcher’s three-run double with the bases loaded in the eighth won the game for Monmouth, while Josh Fournier was 2-for-5 with a pair of singles.
Kyle Bourget paced the Lisbon offense with a double, single and two runs scored.

Dylan McMahon tossed a two-hitter as the Wolverines (5-9) downed Oak Hill in MVC action.
Offensively, Nate Howard had a two-run single in the fifth inning for a 3-1 Wolverines lead, and Matt Craig finished off the three-run inning with a run-scoring single.

Chandler Shostak and Ben Carrier each doubled and singled to lead the host Rams to a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win at Augusta.
Gabe Pelletier singled twice for Mt. Ararat, 3-10 and scheduled to host Brunswick today. Reilly Kons and Griffin Stockford each singled in the loss.
