

KVAC in Bath
At McMann Field in Bath, the Lawrence girls and Edward Little boys prevailed in Class A.
In Class A girls, Lawrence came away with 127 points, followed by EL (104), Mt. Ararat (81), Messalonskee (73) and Brunswick (71.50).
Allison Hill of Brunswick picked up a first in the 100-meter hurdles (16.24) and second in the 300 hurdles (50.30), Emma Nagler took second in the 1600 race/walk (9:17.75) and Tessa Cassidy second in the 3,200 (12:14.16).

In Class A boys, EL was first with 122.50 points, just ahead of Lawrence (118), with Brunswick (87.70) fourth and Mt. Ararat (56.70) sixth.
Alex Nichols of Brunswick won the 100 (11.35), the 200 (22.91) and the 400 (50.58), while Jamie Ross placed second in the 1600 (4:27.98) and second in the 800 (2:00.51), and Walter Martin second in the 300 hurdles (43.79).
Andrew McCracken of Mt. Ararat won the pole vault in 12-06.
In the Class B meet, the Waterville girls prevailed 176.57-117.33 over Winslow, with Morse seventh (30).
The Waterville boys won also with 164 points to beat out Belfast (98) with Morse 10th (210.
Highlight for the Morse girls included Savannah Simmons- Grover winning the high jump (5- 00) and javelin (105-01), and taking fifth in the long jump (14-00.25), while Liz Walfield shined in the 200 (fifth, 28.15) and 300 hurdles (fifth, 52.28).
For the Morse boys, Nate Stover was fourth in the 1600 (4:42.99) and fourth in the 800 (2:10.52), Christopher Walfield fifth in the 3200 (10:47.35) and Max Lareau fourth in the long jump (19-01).
WMCs at Lake Region
The WMC was held at Lake Region.
In Division II, the Traip Academy girls won over Freeport 156-111, while the Wells boys won over Sacopee Valley 174-143 with Freeport sixth (49).
For the Freeport girls, Kelsey Grant was second in the 100 (13.60), first in the 100 hurdles (17.28) and first in the javelin (101-11), Lexi Dietrich won the 200 (27.81), and Elly Bengtsson (5:59.96) and Sydney Ambrose (6:04.59) were second and thirdinthe1600,whilethe4x800 relay placed first in 10:41.80 and Lucy Zachau was first in the race/walk (9:29.32).
In the Freeport boys cause, Harrison Stivers won the 800 (2:04.47), Victor Skorapa captured the 3200 (11:32.30) and Luke Spaulding won the 1600 race/walk (8:44.54).
The state meets are scheduled to be held this Saturday with Class A in Brewer, Class B in Bath and Class C in Dover.
