
She was born in Houlton to Leland and Marjorie Irish on August 3, 1942.
After many years in Aroostook County, they moved to Bath where she graduated from Morse High School in 1960.
Nancy met her husband, Jim Foutch, on a blind date in 1965 and were married on June 24, 1968.
For many years she worked as a bank teller at BIW Five County and Atlantic Regional Federal Credit Unions.
After retirement she and Jim took to the open road in their RV traveling back and forth across the United States. They found a friendly haven in Rockport, Texas, where they would spend the winter months.
Nancy is preceded by her parents Leland and Marjorie Irish, her brother Roger Irish, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Surviving is her loving husband, Jim Foutch; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Travis Dooley; and her cherished grandson, James Dooley; her sisters, Gloria Brawn, Laura Leonard, Gail Smith and Deborah Irish; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, June 14 at 2 p.m., at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High Street, Bath.
