To the Editor:

I have some comments concerning security, freedoms and privacy.

U.S. Sen. John McCain recently said: “Obviously, if they are trying to track bad people, then I think there’s legitimacy to it (phone recording), but is there sufficient oversight?”

I say that there is most likely not such sufficient oversight — at least not in the federal administration. Just look at the insufficient oversight regarding the IRS.

The buck stops nowhere with the Obama White House. And neither is there any one of his appointees willing to take responsibility for their departments’ actions. Pathetic, I say.

We are now frequently seeing what a bad president is capable — or not capable — of.
