BRUNSWICK — Local historian Fred Koerber will lead visitors through the connections between two forts by discussing stories uncovered during the recent excavation at the site of Fort Richmond.
The program is 1 p.m. Sunday, July 21.
The Androscoggin River that separates Topsham and Brunswick has been home to many historic forts, including Fort George and Fort Richmond.
Meet in front of the “Fort Andross” sign at the mill on Maine Street in Brunswick. The fee is $3 for members; non-members $3 in advance, $5 at the door. Call 729-6606 for details.
