OLATHE, Kan. — Brunswick’s Jerry LeVasseur recently competed in the USATF Master Track and Field Championships.
The 75-year-old athlete picked up gold medals in the 10Kand4x800,asilverinthe 5K,1,500and4x400,anda bronze in the steeplechase.
With a fourth-place showing in the triple jump, LeVasseur picked up 27 points for the New England 65 Plus Runners Club. His point total allowed the lone team representative to finish 40th out of 117 teams.
