Edmond W. Chenard, 90, of Springvale, died on Wednesday, July 17 at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 22 at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church, located on Payne Street in Springvale. Interment with military honors will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider sending a memorial contribution in Ed’s name to the Maine Veterans Home Activities Fund, 290 U.S. Route 1, Scarborough, ME 04074. Vera M. Palmer Labbe, 85, of Arundel, died June 20, 2013 at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, after a sudden illness, surrounded by her family. At her request, there will be no services.
