TOPSHAM — Fifty years of marriage were recently celebrated by Wilbur and Gloria Jones Wilson of Pejepscot Village, Topsham.

The couple exchanged their vows on July 6, 1963, at the Baptist Parsonage in Lisbon Falls, with the late Rev. Robert Brackley. A reception followed at the home of the bride.

Wilbur retired from the Pejepscot Paper Co. in Pejepscot Village after 35 years of service. For many years, he also built pallets used to transport paper from the mill. Gloria worked for the First National Bank of Brunswick and is a homemaker.

They have a daughter Karen Lee McLane, her husband Kevin, and one grandson Kevin Jr. of Raymond.
