Brunswick police issued a Westbrook man a summons for operating under the influence after he was involved in a crash on Jordan Avenue early Sunday morning.

Brunswick Deputy Police Chief Marc Hagan said at around 1:50 a.m. Sunday, police were called to the area of 95 Jordan Avenue for a vehicle that had hit a tree. Officers arrived and found a male standing outside the vehicle, Hagan said, and conducted a field sobriety test.

The driver, Robert Stark, 22, of Westbrook, complained of chest pain and was transported to Parkview Adventist Medical Center, where a blood test was administered. Police issued him summonses for operating under the influence and possession of marijuana.
