
He served four years as active duty in the U.S. Air Force in Anchorage, Alaska. He then served seven years in the Air National Guard of South Portland, Maine.
He enjoyed activities such as playing pool, bowling, camping, hunting, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a kind man with a loving heart and a great sense of humor. He was eagerly looking forward to the births of his first two grandchildren: a boy, Mason Brian, in October and a girl in
December.
He is survived by five children: a son, Nic Chipman, a daughter and son-inlaw, Kaila and Brandon Masters, and daughters Kassidy Morse, Kaitlynn Morse, and Alexianna Morse. He is also survived by fiancee Angela Gilliam and her two sons Keegan and Devon Gilliam, former wife Stacey Grimes- Morse, sister and brother-inlaw Amy and Jason Guimond, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at the Bowdoinham Church of the Nazarene at 7 School St. in Bowdoinham on Friday, July 26, 2013, at 2 p.m.
