Armed Forces Horseshoe Tournament and Picnic, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 8 with a reservation deadline of Sept. 1, at Kennebec Valley Horseshoe Pitchers’ Complex, Piggery Road, Augusta.
The event is open to active duty military and veterans, National Guard and reserves. Sons of the Legion, Legion Riders and families are invited.
A $20 fee will benefit the soldier/sailor family Christmas project. Space is limited.
