• Maine Boys to Men will be hosting a golf tournament at Martindale Country Club on Sept. 5. Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
The cost is $115 for an individual and $460 for a foursome and includes greens fee, cart, lunch, gift bag and buffet. To register visit maineboystomen.org.
• Maine Hoops annual basketball league will run from the first weekend in October through the first weekend in November. The league features competition for boys and girls from fifth grade through high school.
Entry fee is $600 for the season or teams can compete on individual weekends for $150.
