BATH — Patricia L. Haley, 83, formerly of Caribou, died Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Horizon Living & Rehab in Brunswick.

She was born in Van Buren on June 14, 1930, a daughter of Patrick D. and Catherine M. (Martin) Cyr.

She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in the class of 1948 and Sisters Hospital School of Nursing in Waterville in the class of 1952. She was employed at several local doctors’ offices in Caribou and moved to Bath in 2001. For many years she volunteered at Cary Medical Center in Caribou and Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary and the St. Bruno’s Catholic Church in Van Buren and the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou.

She is survived by one son, William Haley and his wife Julie of Vinalhaven, one daughter, Paula Farmer and her husband Raymond of Wiscasset, four grandchildren, Jessica Stedt of Auburn, Jeri Stedt of Watertown, MA, William Haley and his wife Alyson of Manhattan, KS and Catherine Haley of Vinalhaven, two greatgrandchildren, Zach Hanson and Sara Hanson of Brunswick.

A graveside service will be at 11 AM of Friday, August, 30, 2013 at St. Bruno Cemetery in Van Buren. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 203, Topsham, 04086.
