BRUNSWICK A Brunswick man whom police had searched for since Thursday was arrested Friday morning and charged with domestic violence assault when he reported to his job at Bath Iron Works. An arrest warrant had been issued for Vincent Nadolny, 45, of 35 Candy Lane, after he reportedly refused to let the victim leave their home in east Brunswick Wednesday night. Police made several attempts to locate Nadolny on Thursday but were unsuccessful. Officer Brian Funke, who answered the original complaint early Thursday morning, went to the Bath shipyard Friday where he apprehended the marine draftsman. Nadolny allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and kept her against her will in the home they share. Police were notified of the incident early Thursday morning after Nadolny left for work; the victim, a 36- year-old woman whose identity was not released, went to a neighbor’s house to call police. She was vomiting and complaining of head pain when officers arrived. Parkview Adventist Medical Center officials confirmed that the victim was treated and released early Thursday morning. No further description of her condition was available. Nadolny posted bail from the Brunswick police station Friday. No court date was immediately available. jtleonard@timesrecord.com
