WISCASSET — Allan Vigil of Bath, arraigned on one charge of arson and one of burglary in connection with a July 4 fire at 2 Davenport Circle, will appear in court on Aug. 21 at the West Bath District Courthouse.
Vigil is also suspected in three other arson cases in the city.
Vigil’s bail hearing was postponed in order to give the state time to provide a mental health evaluation. However, at the July 16 arraignment, future bail arrangements had already been set. They include $20,000 cash bail and an order not to contact Fire Chief Mike Clark, who is also a former state legislator.
