BRUNSWICK — Maine Educational Opportunity Center will host a pair of free local workshops to help adults plan for a college education.
Two sessions — called Essentials of College Planning — are open to adults 19 and older and will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
The first is scheduled for 9 a.m. at Midcoast Center for Higher Education, 9 Park St. in Brunswick, and a second will be held at Southern Midcoast CareerCenter, 275 Bath Rd., at 12 p.m.
Maine Educational Opportunity Center is housed at the University of Maine and funded entirely by the U.S. Department of Education.
