SKOWHEGAN (AP) — A Maine fair that bills itself as the nation’s oldest continuously operating fair is getting underway for the 195th year.
The Skowhegan State Fair kicks off Thursday at the Skowhegan State Fairgrounds. It continues for 10 days of rides, animal exhibits and competitions, music, demolition derbies, harness racing and other entertainment.
